The Queen Charlotte Islands
This triangular archipelago known as Haida Gwaii "islands of the people" to the Haida People is located 80 km (50 miles) from Prince Rupert on the British Columbia mainland. The Queen Charlotte Islands are comprised of more than 150 islands, many small and uninhabited. Graham to the north and Moresby to the south, are the largest of the islands.

There are four main towns - Masset, Queen Charlotte City, Sandspit and Skidegate, plus numerous small communities scattered throughout the islands.

To reach the Queen Charlotte Islands you may travel by air or ferry from Prince Rupert. Direct air service from Vancouver is also available.
