Skiing & Boarding Sun Peaks Resort Hiking

Sun Peaks Resort is a special place. Three mountains offering stunning alpine bowls, powder filled steeps on Tod Mountain, glades, and perfectly groomed cruisers all nestled around one charming alpine village. With 122 runs to choose from you might want to consider the complimentary mountain host service provided by our Sun Guides or Olympic Champion Nancy Greene.

When you compare the mountain facts we are truly Canada's third largest resort, but don't think for a minute that we have lost our intimate alpine village atmosphere. Sun Peaks is a ski in and ski out pedestrian village where you can enjoy a completely car free vacation. You'll find a wide variety of accommodation options - from hotels to condos to town homes - and plenty of choices for dining and shopping, all within easy walking distance of the slopes.

Sun Peaks is a mountain playground full of limitless possibilities - from serene to extreme. Kids can go skating at our outdoor ice skating rink, or slide down the mountain on our lift access tube park. The resort also has a sports centre featuring a year round heated outdoor pool, hot tubs, and kids play area. Guided dogsledding and snowmobile tours are also exciting ways to see the Sun Peaks back country. For those looking for something a little more peaceful explore the valley on snowshoes or cross country skis. Spending the afternoon relaxing at one of our three spas is also an excellent choice for those looking to unwind.

Sun Peaks Ski School
The Sun Peaks Sports School is proud to offer guests lessons delivered by some of the top snow professionals in Canada. Group, specialty, and private lessons are available for tots, kids, and adults wanting to master a snow sport. With the Austria National Ski Team calling Sun Peaks home for early season training leading up to 2010 we have a race training facility that is world class. The Nancy Greene International Race Centre offers a wide variety of training programs, a course that can support four lanes of GS and Slalom training, and a dedicated quad chairlift.

As winter says goodbye the sun rises on three new seasons of fun and adventure at Sun Peaks Resort - spring, summer, and fall. Sun Peaks offers a wide range of warm weather activities from golf on our 18 hole course to lift access hiking, a lift access mountain bike park, kids day camps, concerts, sporting events, horseback riding, tennis, and much more.
